- Sign up (setup) ZELLE usage on your financial institution's account you wish to pay from
- Once setup, you simply select the "SEND" function within the ZELLE app or website.
- As part of the "SEND" function, ZELLE will prompt you for the e-mail address to send funds to.
- Enter "finance-officer@
eugenecyountpost145.org" and your funds will be directed to our Post's Finance Officer in the same manner as when an electronic check is sent from your financial institution. - This will deposit funds directly into our Post's US Bank account.
- Be sure to annotate the purpose of your funds transfer in the MEMO box so we can ensure it is accounted for accurately.
The transfer is quick, efficient, and you will receive receipts to help track all funding. You no longer need to worry about writing and tracking checks, or even going to the Post Office. Numerous Post members have used ZELLE in conjunction with their personal banking for years without any difficulty or problems.
If you do encounter problems setting up ZELLE, check with our Finance Officer, Dan Madore, using the same email address shown above, or contact the Post's commander. Please refer to the Post Officers information page >> here <<.
If your bank does NOT have a way to connect with the Zelle Payment System, you can used the traditional way of payment outlined in items 1) and 2) above, OR, simply provide a check at one of the Monthly General meetings. Whatever the case, we'll work to keep this as simple as possible.
